Eleni is a photographer, educator for Art Photography Practice and Theory and curator of photographic exhibitions and publications. She is co-founder of The Provinces photography platform and of indexical Photography and Theory Hub, Athens. Currently she is the artistic director of the Photopolis International Photography Festival in Agrinio.

Committed to long term projects, in her work she focuses on human ecology issues, on 'absorptive' behaviour in the public realm, leisure time geography, landscape as a Fantasy of [not] belonging, memory and history.
